Beau Bourgeois

Bourgeois Meat Market has been a mainstay of the Schriever and Thibodaux communities for over 130 years where Beau Bourgeois is currently a fourth generation butcher. Beau has worked at his family’s business since he was 6 years old. He graduated from Nicholls in 2008 and earned his graduate degree in

mathematics from Tulane in 2011. He’s utilized these math skills to keep all 10 of his fingers, which he’s determined is the best number of fingers to have. He is married to Chelsi Bourgeois and has three kids, Teddy, Thomas, and Rosie, and Adaline. Beau’s experience cutting fresh meats, smoking sausage and andouille, and cooking head cheese and boudin has shown him how important quality, fresh ingredients are to any dish.

Beau is also a Black Belt in Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu at Next Generation Martial Arts in Thibodaux.
