We don’t add any gelatin. The bone-in pork, once simmered down, provides the necessary gelling effect. Head cheese is usually served cold. For parties it is often served with crackers or for breakfast, it is served on toast or with grits.

Had this 2 times and and both times the products were great. My uncle has been trying to find good head cheese for years and I bought this for him as an early Xmas gift. He ate a pound in one sitting. Half hot and half mild with just a bit of vinegar with it and wants me to order more. Definitely recommend. Actual head cheese not sylta like others try to pass off as head cheese. Ordering again very soon once I finish mine.
